1. Who we are
Your Property Check is operated by Check Labs Ltd as a free property toolkit. Data controller: Check Labs Ltd.
2. What we collect
- Information you submit through tools (postcode, property details, name, email, phone, marketing consent).
- Basic technical data: referrer URL, the tool you used, timestamp.
- We do not use tracking cookies. Analytics is Cloudflare Web Analytics — cookieless and anonymised.
3. How we use your data
- To deliver the requested tool result or PDF report.
- If you tick the consent box, to contact you about your property and help you with it. We use these details only for that purpose.
- To improve our tools (in aggregate only — never linked to you personally).
4. Who we share with
We never sell or rent your data, and we do not pass it to third parties for their own marketing. The one time we share your details is when you ask us to: if you submit a Cash Offer Check and tick the consent box, we pass your details to our cash-buying partner so they can make you an offer (see section 4a). Otherwise, your details are used only to help with your property.
4a. Cash Offer Check — sharing your details with our buying partner
- The Cash Offer Check connects you to a cash buyer. If you submit it and tick the consent box, you are explicitly consenting to Your Property Check sharing the details you entered (such as your postcode, property details, name and contact details) with our cash-buying partner so they can make you a cash offer.
- Who the partner is. In role terms, the partner is an independent, funded, NAPB-member cash buyer who follows The Property Ombudsman Code of Practice. Your Property Check introduces you — the partner is the buyer, not us.
- How the lead is passed. Once you submit the form with consent, your details are sent securely to that single buying partner so they can contact you about your property. We do not broadcast your details to multiple companies.
- How we're paid. Your Property Check may be paid an introducer fee by the partner if you go on to deal with them. This never costs you anything and does not change the offer you receive.
- Only with your consent. Sharing happens only if you tick the consent box — never automatically. You can withdraw your consent or ask us and the partner to delete your details at any time by emailing privacy@yourpropertycheck.co.uk.
5. How long we keep your data
Lead data: 24 months from submission, then deleted. You can request earlier deletion at any time.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion, or transfer of your data. Email us at privacy@yourpropertycheck.co.uk.
7. Security
Data is stored on Cloudflare D1 in encrypted form. We do not log secrets or sensitive identifiers.
8. Supervisory authority
You have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
